One of the most common questions among people who want to work as cabin crew is whether there is a maximum age for this profession.

To answer this question, it is important to distinguish between two things that are often confused: the requirements to complete the training and obtain the CCA (Cabin Crew Attestation) and the requirements that each airline subsequently establishes when recruiting cabin crew members.

Obtaining the CCA and Working for an Airline Are Not the Same Thing

The CCA (Cabin Crew Attestation) is the certification required to work as a cabin crew member for European airlines.

The requirements to access the training and obtain this certification should not be confused with the criteria that airlines subsequently use in their recruitment processes.

Once you have obtained your CCA, each airline establishes its own requirements and decides what type of candidate profile it is looking for.
